The 9/11 set up: No conspiracy. Just the perfect opportunity
If you look at the countries which America has overthrown since 1949 (the founding of the CIA and DoD, today a trillion dollar a year business, with 40% of the budgets secret) you consistently see that a target nation always experienced a strong political, military or economic shock...leading to the downfall or takeover of national values and purpose.
The 9/11 event was not specifically foreseen by U.S. government agencies. But the potential of such an event was definitely anticipated by think tanks and a select group of 25 important leaders, who drafted a document in 1997 called "Project for the new American Century" (which will be described in detail later.)
To stay on-message, since 9/11, the clear Congressional capitulation to the empowerment of an unregulated Executive Branch and Presidency is as clear as day. The American people were bought off with funny money stock and housing markets, for nearly a decade of fighting twenty wars at once around the world (overt and covert wars, start with Mexico).
Now, the "Defense machine" and the politics which enable it, are quietly preparing "contingencies" for the downfall of American democracy. We the People are now held hostage, threatened with a $15 trillion national debt and "enemies all around us."
In 2010, the U.S. Supreme Court ratified virtual fascism in the democratic election process, so that Congress can be controlled by corporations tied to the downfall. The court allowed Super PAC-financing (spent of course with corporate-owned media) to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to control the perceptions that "We the People" have... so nobody complains about the suicide of democracy. Simple, documented fact, and too uncomfortable for anybody but those "damn liberals" to mention (leftist fascists simply want the DoD jobs program to continue, so American kids of color can escape the crushing poverty and 20-30% unemployment of their urban dysfunctional caste.)
Most recently, in December 2011, the Congress passed and the President signed (using anunconstitutional "signing statement") NDAA 2012 (paragraph 1031) Allows for arrest of U.S. citizens by the U.S. military (on suspicion of "enemy affiliation" alone! (paragraph 1032) denies ANY right to trial,ever! We the People did NOT elect "party first" members to Congress, to cut our throats by suspending the U.S. Constitution, with "half" measures like NDAA's threat to the 6th Amendment!
